I’m starting a series on growing and showing chrysanthemums. I’ve always loved mums, and my dad began growing them for shows in 1975. For over two decades, he was active in the Long Island Chrysanthemum Society, and each fall he’d show his prized flowers.  I love mums. Even if you’re not interested in showing them, they are great fall flowers for the garden.
